Maureen Morgan

Maureen bottled up her feelings after the death of her father at the age of sixteen. She was raped at eighteen, and a victim of sexual assault at knife point at the age of 21.

Maureen endured years of stress and severe chronic migraine headaches. She
became reserved and stopped talking, but found an outlet to release her deep emotional inner pain through writing.

Maureen endured many spiritual attacks, suffering suppression, oppression and depression to the point of almost losing her mind.

Police harassed her son from the age of 14 years old, trying to add him to the statistic list, but she constantly prayed for him and God's divine intervention kept him from prison.  Her son nearly died at 18 years old. Maureen interceded for him and God answered her prayers.

Despite numerous trials, she continued to believe God. Her testimony is that through it all she learnt to trust in Jesus. Although she was presented with many opportunities to GIVE UP and GIVE IN, she held onto the promises of God.

One of her favorite scripture verses that kept her focused is, Psalms 34:19 "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers out of them all." God DELIVERED her.

Her book FREE TO BE ME is her TESTIMONY to encourage others that no matter what circumstances life may bring...
